PARTICIPATING LIVEPITCH AT THE AUSTIN GAME CONFERENCE
Game Developers
Encouraged to Submit Their Game Demos for
Consideration by August 15th
AUSTIN, Texas, July 26, 2006 - The Game
Initiative, the leading producer of conferences for professionals in the
computer and video game industry, announced today the participating
publishers for the 4th annual LivePitch, sponsored by WildTangent Inc.,
unfolding at the Austin Game Conference, September 6-7-8, 2006. LivePitch
applicants will have the chance to present their projects to Capcom
Entertainment, Game Trust, Inc., Comcast, Stardock Entertainment, NCsoft,
GoPets Inc., PlayFirst, Majesco Entertainment, Atari, Inc., Konami Digital
Entertainment, Inc, MTV Networks, iWin, WildTangent, and Codemasters.
LivePitch at the Austin Game Conference is currently accepting
applications from game developers with unsigned projects and is a unique
opportunity for these developers to present original content to publishers
looking for MMOG, PC, casual, or console games to bring to market.
LivePitch lets publishers maximize the number of studios and projects they
can interact with in one location at one time. Developers get 30 minutes
to demo their game and woo interested publishers one-on-one in a private
meeting room at the conference. The Austin Game Conference handles the
scheduling and logistics, so the developers and publishers can simply show
up and get to business.
Game developers can apply online at http://www.LivePitch.com .
Participating publishers will review the applications and decide which
projects they want to see.
Applications must be received by August 15, 2006 for consideration.
Now in its 4th year, the three-day Austin Game Conference will bring
together 2,500 attendees from more than 20 countries to participate in
concentrated discourse with their peers, network with colleagues, learn
from industry leaders, conduct business, and see the latest tools,
technologies and techniques - all in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
